Medical Practices wanting to add this Free Service for the purpose of reducing the cost of out-patient prescriptions to their patients for:  A) those without prescription insurance, or, B) covering specialty prescriptions not covered by patient insurance plans, i.e., contraceptives, diabetic supplies (with prescription), certain hormone therapies, now may do so at no cost.

Participation in this program will add to the value of your practice by enhancing patient loyalty.

Most of you provide a lower fee schedule for uninsured patients.  Addition of this service will both provide added financial help to your patients and assure a greater % compliance with your prescribed course of drug treatment. Statistical results in actual groups have shown that the program increases compliance among low income or uninsured patients by approximately 27% (from below 40% to over 67%.)

A limited monthly Supply of Active Prescription Cards ( usually 100 per physician per month*) will be made available, showing the Name of your practice on the top of each card. *Greater numbers of cards per month are available for practices that care for larger numbers of patients in the targeted markets. 

Participation with this program adds benefit and lowers out of pocket costs for patients utilizing your medical practice, but, since it is a Free service provided to you, and through you to your patients, it does not violate Stark Act provisions. 

We provide your Practice Employees with the Supplemental Group Prescription Card program at no cost to participating Medical Practices. 

Since this is an on-going program, we do ask that you assign one clinical employee as a contact person for keeping track of the number of cards dispensed each month so that we may re-stock only those needed to bring you back to the per doctor monthly card level we establish.   This may be done by monthly e-mail.
